Cynthia Ritchie, Director

White Tiger Communications Ltd. is headed by Cynthia Ritchie, a business development, marketing and communications professional who has spent 25 years in the satellite communications, digital TV and electronic media sector. Throughout most of the 1990s, she was a recognised journalist and commentator on the communications and broadcasting sector, having held senior editorial positions at many of the most respected industry publications including Cable and Satellite Europe magazine (now Digital TV Europe), Cable and Satellite Express, Inside Digital TV, Interspace, International Cable, Cable Business International, as well as having a host of other publishing credits to her name. Following her career as a journalist, Cynthia successfully held numerous senior sales, business development, marketing and corporate communications positions with blue-chip industry leaders including BT Broadcast Services, Lockheed Martin Intersputnik and Intelsat. At NDS (now Cisco) she spearheaded sales initiatives that developed market traction and won new customers in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia for the company’s end-to-end portfolio of advanced TV technology solutions. She was then appointed Global Director of Corporate Communications, with responsibility for worldwide media relations and internal communications. Her most recent corporate role was Vice President of Marketing Communications at Inmarsat plc, where she transformed company positioning in multiple vertical sectors. Cynthia is a founder member of the UK affiliate of SSPI (Society of Satellite Professionals International) and of EUsatcom, an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), and a member of Women in Telecoms and Technology (WiTT).

Rachel Postlethwaite, Consultant

Rachel Postlethwaite began her public relations agency career as a PR consultant to technology companies in the late 1980s. Since then, Rachel has accrued a wide range of professional PR experience, providing communications strategy advice and delivering creative, high-impact campaigns to clients while working in the US as well as in the UK. Her experience supporting leading players in the digital TV space spans 10 years, since the dawn of the first interactive TV applications, with a client list including ADB, Broadcom, CANAL+ Technologies, Farncombe, NDS (now Cisco), Pilat Media and ThinkAnalytics. In the satellite space, she has successfully supported Inmarsat and Globalstar.
